Jalees Sherwani is known for his brilliant writing skills in Bollywood, having penned the lyrics for songs like “Humka Peeni Hai” and “Pande Ji Seeti” from the Salman Khan-starrer film “Dabbang” in August 2018 Died on 1st. He was over 65 years old and his death is undoubtedly a huge loss to Bollywood. Jalees was born on December 29 in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh. He spent his childhood in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and completed his education in the same city. In 1965, he entered Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) to pursue his degree and after graduation, he started composing poetry, dialogues and lyrics.
