The movie portion of the DC Universe is gearing up to launch next year, with DC Studios set to release the first superman trailer. Writer, director and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has been working hard towards 2025 Superman The movie also features all of his shepherding duties in the new DC Universe, which took over the now-ended DC Extended Universe with a soft reboot of sorts. David Corenswet replaces former Man of Steel Henry Cavill as Superman and takes on Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster (Joe Shuster) puts his own spin on the iconic character.

What the Superman movie trailer reveals
DC’s trailer reveals a lot about Superman The film’s cast includes Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Additionally, supporting characters from the Daily Planet make appearances, such as Jimmy Olsen (Skyler Gisondo) and, of course, Coronthwaite as Clark Kent. There’s even a first look at Hawkgirl (Isabella Merced) and Mister Terrific (Eddie Gaethje), as well as Nathan Fillion’s Green Lantern using the ring. Superdog Krypto also plays a prominent role in the trailer, helping an injured Superman.
