It’s 1994 again!
True lies actors Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger reunited over the weekend, nearly 30 years after their hit movie first premiered in theaters. Curtis, 64, even shared some cute photos of the duo on her Instagram page to celebrate.
On Saturday, the Oscar-winning actress and the former California governor, 76, spent time together at a benefit event for the nonprofit After-School All-Stars, which helps low-income children.
“‘Yes, my name is Ingeborg, I’m from Stuttgart.’ I LOVE the way my friends dress up and show up for causes that move their souls and hearts,” Curtis wrote on Instagram. “@schwarzenegger LOVES @afterschoolallstars and I LOVE ARNOLD! THE GOAT! 🐐”
Curtis wore a German dirndl dress and a flower crown in the pictures, while Terminator the star wore a black T-shirt and high socks. The pair also posed with chef Hans Rockenwagner, who came dressed to impress and match the apparent theme.

The charity outing for the longtime friends comes nearly a year after their last public gathering in October 2022, when Curtis was feted at a hand and foot print ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
During the event, where the two shared a friendly kiss, Schwarzenegger called Curtis “the most extraordinary actress” who can “kick serious ass” while applauding her performance in True lies from all those years ago.
“When you go online and look up Jamie Lee Curtis, you can see all the wonderful things they say about her,” said Schwarzenegger, who played spy Harry Tasker in the film. “But there’s always one thing that really pisses me off, and that’s when they say she’s a supporting actress in a movie True lies.”
“Because she wasn’t the supporting cast – she was the female lead. She was the star. She acted with me,” he added.

Curtis also caught up Party tonight after receiving her honor, and opened up about what it means to see her friend come to support her. Then she revealed that she would not be opposed to acting in another movie with Schwarzenegger.

“That made me want to do another one with him. I went up to him and I said, ‘Dude, why don’t we do another movie?’ I’ll call Jim today,” she said, referring to director James Cameron.
Of course, True lies it was a real defeat. According to Box Office Mojo, movie grossed more than $146 million globally, taking more than $25 million in its first weekend in 1994 alone. True lies it also won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects and earned Curtis a Golden Globe for Best Actress.
