Jamie Lopez was well-known for her role on the reality show Super Sized Salon.
Jamie Lopez was the CEO of Las Vegas, Nevada’s Babydoll Beauty Couture Salon. According to a Facebook post by Babydoll Beauty Couture, the salon encourages body acceptance and welcomes women with impairments and poor self-esteem. Their chairs can support up to 800 pounds of weight. Lopez got the idea for the business when her hairdressing chair broke down. Her experience inspired her to launch a firm in 2013.
Lopez revealed in an interview that she was turned down by manicure salons due to her weight. She confessed in 2003 that she was a prom queen who was bullied. Unknown persons damaged her salon in 2018. Poop was thrown on the salon windows, and the air conditioners were broken. During this time, she also got multiple death threats. Jamie Lopez was depressed at one time because she was continually questioning her choices. Her salon was featured on We TV’s Super Sized Salon, which documented her weight reduction journey. She previously spoke with Yahoo Beauty about her weight-loss journey, stating she was a victim of prejudice, and how she wants to utilize her beauty platform to assist other women who had encountered similar challenges.
She went on:
“It makes me extremely angry to be mistreated because of my size, and not have a location where I can become attractive. When a lady leaves my salon after receiving treatments, I want her to feel attractive, confident, and s*xy.”
Jamie Lopez has roughly 2,970 Instagram followers and 56 Instagram posts. Her most recent video post offered her fans the chance to win a Zoom meeting with her and an autographed copy of her book, Big Fat Lies. Lopez’s birth date, as well as information about her upbringing and parents, remain unknown. Her family relatives survive her.
