Jason Kennedy and Lauren Kennedy are parents for the second time!
The Hey! News host, 41, announced the baby girl’s arrival in a joint Instagram post with wife Lauren, 35, on Friday, along with the newborn’s name β Poppy Ford Kennedy β and photos of the little one.
“I’m sure your feed could use some good news today – we wanted to share that our angel, Poppy Ford Kennedy, has arrived at 10β’10 and is giving you all big hugs right now,” Jason and Lauren wrote in the caption, which revealed that their a daughter born on Tuesday.

The Kennedys released photos of their newborn daughter on Friday.

The first photo in their post shows tiny baby Poppy lying in the middle of a large wooden crib in the nursery wrapped in a blanket with a pacifier in her mouth.
The proud parents then shared a snap of the little one shortly after she was born, lying in a hospital incubator as what appeared to be Jason looked down at Poppy as he stood next to the delivery nurse.
The entertainment journalist, who was wearing a mask in the video, held a pair of scissors in his hand as he appeared to be about to cut his daughter’s umbilical cord.

The couple announced the arrival of the little one with a post on Instagram.

βPoppy Ford Kennedy is here π,β Lauren wrote as she re-shared the post on her Instagram Story. “She’s here π,” Jason added on his own Instagram story.
Meanwhile, friends of the couple shared their delight at the new addition in the comments section of their post.
“What a blessing π We love her and your family so much β€οΈβ€οΈππ” Jason’s ex Hey! News co-host Giuliana Rancic wrote, while Taylor Lautner added a sweet note: “I love you dude.”

Jason and Lauren married on December 12, 2014 after meeting on set Hey! News 2013. They had a son, Ryver Rhodes, in April 2022 after IVF. The couple had been open on social media, before Ryver’s birth, about their fertility issues and the years-long IVF process.
In April, the couple revealed they were expecting their second child, which they described as a “big surprise” when they shared a cute video of them explaining to 18-month-old son Ryver that his sibling was on the way.

“This was a huge surprise and the sweetest twist – can’t wait to watch little Ryver become a big brother π€π€πΆπΌ,” Jason and Lauren wrote in a joint post at the time.
In the video, Jason showed his son a positive pregnancy test after playing a game of peekaboo with him in his crib. In a wonderful moment, Ryver immediately grabbed the test as soon as he saw it and started playing with the object.
A series of photos followed the clip, including a shot of Lauren hugging their baby boy while Jason proudly held up a pregnancy test.
