Jatin Kashyap is an Indian cricket umpire who was accused by the International Cricket Council (ICC) of violating anti-corruption norms in 2023.

Jatin Kashyap was born in Bathinda, Punjab. He graduated in 2008 from Government Rajindra College, Bathinda. He also studied hotel management at Columbia Business School in Singapore in 2009. He also pursued a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur.

According to the ICC, he has not officiated a regional match since 2019 and has not umpired in the Punjab Cricket Tour.

  • In an interview, the ICC said he was accused of “failing or refusing to cooperate without compelling justification with an investigation by the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) into possible corruption under the Code… including (but not limited to) failing to “co-operate” in accurately and completely providing any information and/or documents requested by the ACU as part of such investigation (whether as part of a formal request under clause 4.3 or otherwise) ). ” According to the ICC, the second breach is “impeding or delaying the ACU’s investigation into possible corruption under this Code… including (but not limited to) concealing, tampering with or destroying any documents or other documents that may be relevant to that investigation.” information and/or which may be evidence of corrupt conduct under this Code or may lead to the discovery of corrupt conduct. ” Following the accusation, the ICC gave him 14 days to respond to the accusation.
