Jay Duplass is a film director, screenwriter and actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. With his younger brother Mark Duplass, he co-wrote and co-directed films such as The Puffy Chair (2005), Cyrus (2010) and Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2011). Along with Mark Duplass and Steve Zissis, Jay co-created the HBO comedy-drama series Togetherness (2015-2016). He is also recognized as the host of the Amazon video comedy-drama series Transparent, which premiered in 2014 and continues to air today.
