JEALOUS KILLER Alice Wood almost made it to Oxford and had a boastful tattoo, a friend has revealed.
But the 23-year-old ended up in prison after killing her fiancé Ryan Watson by hitting him and dragging him with her car.

On Tuesday, Wood was found guilty at Chester Crown Court of murdering the 24-year-old in a deadly “game of chicken” at a birthday party in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
Watson was tragically hit under Wood’s car in the third attempt and dragged 158 meters.
Jurors heard that the pair had earlier been at a party where the video showed them laughing and joking together.
But Watson also “clicked” with another woman which sent Wood into a jealous rage.
A former friend told the Mirror that Wood’s crime appeared to be out of character.
“Alice never showed any signs of jealousy, anger or aggression and was not the type of person to be wary of.
“She was friendly with most people and quite quiet – but when she did speak, it was valuable. I think that’s why it was such a shock.
An unnamed friend said Wood was intelligent at school and was selected for advanced groups.
They said she got three A’s, which she tattooed on herself, and also made it to the final selection for Oxford.
Further footage showed the pair leaving the party as Wood drove her fiance’s Fiat as they made their way home.
After parking, she got into her own car where she reversed into Ryan – nearly hitting him.
The philosophy student can then be seen driving Ryan repeatedly while on the bonnet.
Andrew Ford, KC, prosecuting, said: “Whilst we are deeply serious and tragic, we say this is a simple case.
“She lost her temper, had an argument with her boyfriend when they were drunk, in the car.
“Things got tough, he got out, kicked in the door and she lost her cool and used the car as a weapon.”
The court heard that Wood had 61 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 milliliters of breath, compared to the legal limit of 35.
Speaking after the verdict, Ryan’s family said: “Today we finally got justice for our beloved son Ryan.
“Alice is in jail where she belongs. But no sentence will be long enough for what she took from us and Ryan, he will never live his life and fulfill his dreams.”
