Reconstituted JEE Apex Board
Re-establishment of JEE Apex Board: The Ministry of Education has issued a notification on the board structure and administrative framework for the JEE Apex Board (JAB for JEE Joint Entrance Examination). According to the published official notice, the National Testing Agency will manage information related to technological support. C-DAC will focus on background activities involving women before and after examination, including submission of claims.
The authorities have decided to reconstitute the JEE Apex Board to ensure seamless administration of JEE Main and JEE Advanced examinations for the academic year 2024 and 2025 after the completion of the previous term of the JAB.

According to the official notification released, NTA will provide administrative and logistical support for the conduct of JEE entrance examinations and JAB will have the final authority to set policies, rules and regulations for the conduct of the entrance examination. The JEE Advanced exams will also be coordinated by the board with the conducting institute.
JEE Main exams are conducted for admission to engineering programs offered in IITs, NITS and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI). Students who clear JEE Mains will be able to apply for JEE Advanced.
