After graduating, Jeff Glor began working at WSTM-TV, where he once anchored the Syracuse newscast at 5:00 p.m. He also worked as a reporter for the 11:00 p.m. news. Similarly, he not only hosts the show, but also co-produces WSTM TV on the side. He worked for that TV station for at least 5 years before leaving in 2003. Despite leaving the job, he continued his research on the New York State Reporters Legal Manual and documented his findings. In the meantime, he worked for WHDH for four years. He worked there as a reporter on weekdays and as a co-host of a news show in the evenings and on weekends.
Jeff joined CBS News in 2007 and began working for them. From January 2011 to 2012, he was part of ‘The Early Show’ where he hosted the shows. Due to the success of this show, CBS launched ‘CBS This Morning’, where he also co-anchored the 7-8 o’clock news.
