Jeffree Star Stated That James And Tati Scandal Ruined The Beauty Community

June 15, 2022 Jeffree Star, YouTube’s richest beauty artist, spoke on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. The star covers everything from his relationships with Kanye West and professional players (NBA, NFL, Golf) to living in Wyoming with 100 guns and 1,000 yaks. He also talks about the downfall of the YouTube beauty community, called Dramageddon 2.0, which took place in 2019. Star, YouTube conspiracy theorist and documentary filmmaker Shane Dawson and beauty experts Tati Westbrook and James Charles are at the heart of the film.

In a YouTube video titled “Goodbye Sister,” Westbrook made the allegations against her old friend and protégé, Charles. Westbrook claims in the video that Charles engages in predatory behavior towards other teenagers who do not identify as gay. The claims were disastrous, causing Charles to lose thousands of followers and major advertising contracts overnight. Then Charles released a video called ‘No More Lies’ in which he explains everything in detail with real facts.

Star Jeffree blames Tati Westbrook and James Charles for the collapse of the Beauty community

Tati’s claims were also confirmed by Star, who claimed to have known about Charles’s predatory behavior. Unfortunately, he never provided any evidence to back up his claims and later said he didn’t know if they were true. On June 30, 2022, Westbrook reappeared on YouTube after a year hiatus following the ‘Bye Sister’ controversy, claiming that everything she wrote about Charles was poisoned by Dawson’s lies and Star.

Following the release of Westbook’s video, Dawson and Star took to social media about the beauty guru lying. Unfortunately, netizens began scouring the internet for Dawson’s past misconduct and discovered racist and pedophile tweets. Dawson lost more than a million YouTube subscribers and a billion views after being forced to remove outdated footage.

He later apologized in a video and removed himself from social media. Netizens also tried to cancel Star so he also disappeared from social networks. Star told Impaulsive that the YouTube beauty community is “basically dead” due to inconsistency and toxicity. He also said that individuals tried to discredit him.

“People were horrible and wanted to blame me because Shane and I had the biggest and most successful launch in the history of cosmetics and people were going crazy over our success and trying to take them down. I.”

said the old man. He said the “James and Tata” story destroyed the beauty community and hurt him emotionally.

Jeffree Star’s autobiography will be about drama

In the podcast, Star doesn’t reveal anything about the movie, but fans can read his narration about Dramageddon 2.0 in his book. The YouTuber addressed the state of the market and the brand’s autobiography in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily while promoting her new skincare line. Star has hinted in his new book that he will be thinking about his interpretation of Dramageddon.

“I believe there’s been a tipping point with Dramageddon events and these things have taken the beauty community and the business to a standstill,” he said.
