Jelly Roll and Snoop Dogg Spark Blunt, Debut Collaboration 'Last Dance with Mary Jane' at Nashville Concert

Jelly Roll and Snoop Dogg were definitely in the “smoking section” on stage earlier this week.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26, the “Sweat” rapper, 53, made a surprise appearance at the country star’s Beautifully Broken tour in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena where the pair debuted a new song from Snoop’s upcoming LP Missionaryaccording to fan footage.

The song “Last Dance with Mary Jane” is an homage to marijuana and features an interpolation of Tom Petty’s 1993 hit “Mary Jane’s Last Dance”.

After the pair finished performing the song, Snoop revealed a blunt object and a lighter and approached Jelly, 39, to share the substance with him.

“Oh, light a new one,” the “Save Me” musician said before the duo belted out a few hits.

Before introducing his collaboration with Jelly, Snoop performed a few classics for the crowd, including “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” “Gin and Juice,” and “Next Episode.”

Jelly’s show in Nashville was the last show of 2024 on his Beautifully Broken tour, and his shows are set to continue in Canada in March 2025.

In addition, the “Wild Ones” musician is scheduled to play Stagecoach in April and will then team up for Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour.

Earlier this month, Snoop unveiled the first single from his upcoming album Missionary — arriving Dec. 13 via Death Row, Aftermath and Interscope — with “Gorgeous,” which features vocals from Jhené Aiko. The song came with a matching lyric video.

The LP marks the first full-length project of Dr. Dre and Snoop from the rapper’s 1993 debut album. Doggy style. The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist will also be joined by Tom Petty, Eminem, 50 Cent, KAAN, Method Man, Smitty, Sting, Cocoa Sarai, Dem Jointz, Stalone, Fat Money, BJ the Chicago Kid, Alus and Aiko. The album should also contain the production of Dr. Drea.
