After running his first 5K earlier this month, Jelly Roll is already setting his next fitness goal.
On May 22, the country star’s wife Bunnie Xo posted a TikTok video of his morning workout, swimming in the pool with their daughter Bailee.
“Morning exercise, baby!” he cheered before revealing he wanted to run another 5K by Thanksgiving.
“I’m going to announce something… are you ready?” the “Need a Savior” singer told his wife. “5K to Turkey Day, baby!”
Jelly, 39, participated in the 2 Bears 5K with Bert Kreischer and Tom Segura at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. on May 7 — an event he began training for in January.
After the event, said Jelly in an interview for Party tonight that he is “a little tired” but “feels great”.
“It was a little harder than I thought [going to be]but it’s great, man,” said the musician.

Bunnie, who also took part in the race, shared a sweet tribute to her husband on her Instagram Stories. The post showed Stupid blonde podcast host grinning from ear to ear as she joined her husband in the cold tub.
“Couples who finish 5 km together cold dive together 😍”, she wrote with the video.
Back in February, Jelly shared with PEOPLE that his “ultimate goal for the 5K” is to lose weight.
“As long as I’m training for this thing, I’m just losing weight. I’ve been eating crazy well, so I’m excited,” he said at the time.
Jelly later said the training paid off, telling PEOPLE in April, “I probably lost about 70 pounds.”
“I’ve been really kicking myself, man. I’m doing two to three miles a day, four to six days a week. I’m doing 20 to 30 minutes in the sauna, six minutes in the cold water every day. I’m eating healthy right now,” he said.
The artist noted that feeling “really good” after the lifestyle change also prompted him to set new health goals.
“I was thinking, I plan to lose another 100, 100-something [pounds]. If I’m feeling this good at this weight, man, I can only imagine how I’m going to feel by the time I go on tour,” he told PEOPLE.
