Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush had a good laugh talking about names.
The Today with Hoda and Jenna the co-host, 41, informed her twin sister that the name Barbara was “coming back”.
“How does that feel, sissy?” she asked her.
“It feels good! Most of my life there were articles saying Barbara was going to die out. She was on the list of names that were going to die out. So I’m glad we’re back, but I doubt the research because I’ve yet to meet a baby or child named Barbara,” laughed Pierce Bush, who shares daughter Cora Georgia (2) with husband Craig Coyne.
Barbara then joked, “I’ve noticed in Brooklyn parks where there’s something old and new, there’s a lot of Maeves. There’s some Dolores. I’ve heard a lot of ‘Come on Dolores.’ I’ve never heard ‘Come on Barbara.'”
“Well, unless it’s your husband or your child,” Bush Hager remarked.

Jenna Bush Hager Talks ‘Carrying On’ Childhood Favorite With Her Three Kids (Exclusive)
“Yeah, and my name isn’t Barbara,” she retorted, to which Bush Hager revealed, “My kids call me Jenna.”
“It’s something you can unpack with them,” Barbara replied.
“That’s something I can unpack with them,” she laughed. “Actually, when we catch up with Hal from our book tour, he says, ‘Hi, Jenna! Hi, Jenna!'”
Laughing, the host explained that she “takes [it] as a compliment because that’s my name.”

Bush Hager shares Hal (4), Poppy (8) and Mila (10) with husband Henry Hager. Speaking to PEOPLE about her partnership with Kendra Scott for a special event at PS 108K Sal Abbracciamento School where she unveiled her first Little Yellow Library earlier this month, the children’s author opened up about sharing childhood favorites with her kids.
Bush Hager was recently moved by sharing Charlotte’s Web with his girlfriends.
“I’ve read it to both Millie and Poppy, and it’s just so beautiful. I recommend that every parent read this book to their children because it’s about the changing of the seasons, about friendship, about life and death. It’s so poetic and a little heartbreaking, and I’m glad that we continued.”
“It’s so amazing to me how A very hungry caterpillar and Good night, Moon hold on,” she remarked. “They’re classics for a reason. Kids are obsessed with them.”
In addition to sharing books, Bush Hager also likes to share the spirit of giving back with his family.
“I think it’s important to show that. We realized that it’s not like my parents taught us, ‘Now we’re going to give back.’ They modeled it for us,” Bush Hager said. “My dad worked weekends with Habitat for Humanity. It’s something we’ve seen them do as part of their lives, not as an addition to what they do. It’s part of the way they live, so I think Henry and I try to do the same .”
She continued, “We also definitely try to find ways to do things as a family throughout the year where our kids can be a part of it and see it as a lifestyle rather than a lesson.”
