Jenna Lyons Reveals Her Rules for Holiday Gifting — and How You Can Shop Her Style Essentials! (Exclusive)

Anyone watching The The Real Housewives of New York knows that Jenna Lyons has some serious gift-giving skills.

Yes, she’s fully aware that said quality has become a very hot topic among her colleagues and Bravo fans, for better or worse (which has now become synonymous with RHONY reboot is a lacy emerald green slip dress that Lyons gave to Jessel Taanko, who complained that the underwear made her feel like a “Christmas tree”).

Now she’s taking gift giving to the next level by partnering with Klarna, a buy-now-pay-later platform with AI-powered shopping features, on a holiday gift guide featuring her favorite fashion, beauty and lifestyle finds.

“I’m proud of my gift-giving and I really love arranging and choosing things for people. It’s hard and overwhelming to figure out what to actually buy during the holidays. I love it when someone pierces it and gives me a list,” Lyons, 55, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

When preparing her purchasable edition, which is available in her Klarna Creator Shop, Lyons made sure to include things she would actually use in her everyday life.

That includes the $15 Sephora Collection Matte Red Liquid Lipstick that she “literally” wears all the time. The embellished mini satin Prada bag is also a must-have for tastemakers, as it provides just enough sparkle to take your look from casual to holiday-ready.

Lyons was also keen to include brands built on a philosophy she believes in, and her designer picks include several up-and-coming labels such as Thakoon Panichgul’s HommeGirls and companies founded by women such as Charlotte Tilbury and Mejuri.

But editing really does have something for everyone, and Lyons reveals which items she would send her RHONY co-stars (well, most of them) and executive producer Andy Cohen.

“I’d give Andy the AMI Paris socks, I think they’re great, and the Byredo Peyote Poem Candle Brynn [Whitfield]. I would give Ubah a Mejuri x Jenna Lyons 14K Signet pinky ring [Hassan] because I think it looks gorgeous in gold HommeGirls box shirt for Erin [Lichy] because I think she could totally rock it. I would give Jessel Tata Harper products because I know she loves skincare.”

Her top tips for gift giving: Always give something that you would like to receive or think of something that is personal to the recipient.

Always keeping it real, Lyons tells PEOPLE that she loves to shop, but she’s the “worst shopper on the planet” who has a “ridiculous” approach to gift buying, often leaving her with too many spare gifts and in “full panic” mode.

But Klarna’s payment options, such as the 30-day setup — which allows customers to try before they buy, with no fees or interest — will go a long way in making its shopping experience a little less stressful.

“What I might do is over-order, but then actually be able to choose between things instead of doing what I normally do, which is wait and then freak out,” Lyons says.

Elsewhere on her holiday schedule, Lyons is ready to fully immerse herself in the Christmas spirit.

She tells PEOPLE she plans to put up her own tree this month to keep her home festive and warm. And when December comes, she will start making mulled cider that will fill her home with the aroma of cinnamon apples and participate in one of her favorite pastimes: baking Christmas cookies and making pavlova. “I’m really getting into it,” she says.
