Jennifer Hudson and Common are back on the court.
On January 17, the “No One Gonna Love You” singer, 42, and the “Come Close” musician, 51, attended a basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Hudson was seen wearing red lipstick, wearing a black leather jacket over a cream sweater, while Common wore a gray puffer vest over a white sweater and quilted pants. They both laughed as they sat courtside playing with their Nike kicks.

On January 10, the duo sat courtside together at a basketball game between the Toronto Raptors and the Los Angeles Clippers at the Crypto.com Arena in LA as they continued to spark dating rumors.
Hudson wore a casual all-black ensemble with a HER merchandise t-shirt and jacket, while Common wore a checked denim ensemble. They were seen smiling, cheering and chatting throughout the match.
Rumors of the couple’s relationship began in 2022. They attended several events together in the past few months, including a November 2023 performance honoring jazz singer Mikel Mwalimu-Banksat at Joe’s Pub Theater in New York.
That same month, the EGOT holder teased her about her romance status during an interview with CBS Morningtelling host Gayle King that she is “very happy” in her relationship with an unnamed partner.
During the conversation, co-host Nate Burleson asked Hudson, “So you’re booed?”
“Booed? I think it’s more sophisticated than booed,” Hudson teased. After Burleson, 42, explained that he didn’t think it was “a plot,” Hudson agreed, “It’s definitely not a plot. That’s for sure.”

Jennifer Hudson and Common Walk hand in hand amid romance rumors
In February 2023, the couple are rumored to have been spotted leaving Noba in Malibu together.
Back in August 2023, in an interview with TMZ, the “Spotlight” singer addressed rumors that she and Common were dating. She then said: “Rumors say a lot of things. But he’s a beautiful man, I’ll give you that. That’s for sure.”
Hudson and Common were initially spotted together in Philadelphia and Chicago after it was announced in May 2022 that they would be starring in the action thriller Breathe.
However, Hudson clarified the rumors in September 2022 Party tonight: “People create their own stories about it and it’s like, OK, you know, how do you feel. We shot a movie together and he played my husband. We have to eat in between those moments.”
