Jennifer Lawrence Has PDA-Filled Lunch Date with Husband Cooke Maroney After Announcing Pregnancy with Baby No. 2

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are spending some time together before the birth of child #2.

After confirming they were expecting their second child on Sunday, October 20, the Oscar winner, 34, and her art gallery director husband, 40, stepped out for lunch together in Los Angeles, photos shared by DeuxMoi show.

Lawrence showed off her baby bump in an oversized yellow button-up and baggy black pants, while Maroney wore a white T-shirt and black pants.

The parents-to-be didn’t shy away from PDA as they strolled around the city, holding hands and sharing a kiss.

Lawrence and Maroney confirmed that Vogue to expect their second child earlier in the day.

The couple – who married in October 2019 – are already parents to two-year-old son Cy, who they welcomed in February 2022.

During a conversation with fellow actress and mom Cameron Diaz for Interview magazine last June, Lawrence also opened up about how becoming a mom has affected her attitude toward the paparazzi.

After Diaz, 52, told her she “did a really good job protecting” the toddler, No anger star said, “I’m doing my best.”

“I was so nervous when I was pregnant,” she continued. “I started getting paparazzi, and I’m just like, ‘How the hell am I not going to lose to these guys when they take pictures of my kid?’ ”

However, after Cy was born, Lawrence said she “realized my energy was more important to him than anything else.”

“So if he senses that I’m anxious before I leave the house, or that I’m angry when we’re out, that’s going to affect him,” Diaz explained. “So, in fact, it’s the opposite, where I became a little more zen and relaxed a little with photography, because I have no choice, you just have to accept it, take a deep breath and walk.
