Jennifer Lawrence Is Inspiring Us to Try Shackets This Spring, so We Found Styles Just Like Hers from $30

After stunning in a plunging three-piece suit at Paris Fashion Week, Jennifer Lawrence, 33, served up another très élégant look on Feb. 29, all thanks to a cute little Jil Sander shirt or jacket. The $4,688 beige top balanced out the rest of her winter outfit with a bit of brightness, serving as a necessary reminder that spring is indeed on its way.

While we regularly see celebs in style in the colder months, like Jennifer Garner’s plaid jacket, Blake Lively’s modest denim, and Chrissy Teigen’s recent army green, it was refreshing to see one closer to spring—and it makes sense.

Jackets are lighter than real coats, but still warm for wind, rain or seasonal weather. You can also layer a sweater or t-shirt accordingly when it’s cold or hot. And the light beige color of Lawrence’s is even more suitable for glasses in the spring.

Aside from the spring hues, you’ll also want to focus on the material: J.Law’s top was cashmere, but remember, she wore it in February. With mid-March approaching, it’s probably best to start transitioning to linen or cotton styles, as they are lighter and more breathable.

Beige and white are clear choices for spring, but others like sage green and pale pink also work.
