Jennifer Lopez Is All Smiles Returning to LA After Show-Stopping Toronto Appearance Without Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez is all smiles as she returns to Los Angeles after the Toronto Film Festival.

The 55-year-old superstar was spotted exiting her private jet in LA on Sunday, September 8, looking comfortable in a cropped white tank top that showed off her toned midsection. She combined the top with a low-waisted gray tracksuit and draped the matching gray tracksuit over her shoulders.

Lopez appeared to be wearing no makeup and had her hair done in a messy top knot. She added a pair of dark sunglasses and brought her cell phone.

Two days earlier, the singer and actress attended the TIFF premiere of her new film Unstoppablewhich marked her first major public appearance since her split from husband Ben Affleck. On August 20, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck (52) after two years of marriage.

On the red carpet, the star turned heads in a floor-length silver Tamara Ralph dress with a high split on either side, tied with large black velvet bows and revealing her side breast. She accessorized with a matching metallic Judith Leiber clutch and Dolce and Gabbana high platform heels and Hassanzadeh jewelry. Her long hair was straightened with a center parting.

Unstoppable follows the real-life story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg. In addition to playing Anthony’s mother, Judy, Lopez also co-produced the biopic with Affleck under his and Matt Damon’s production company Artists Equity.

Affleck wasn’t in attendance, but a source told PEOPLE that Lopez and Damon, 53, had a “long, deep conversation” at the after party after the premiere.

An insider says Lopez was sitting at a table outside with the actor’s wife Luciana Damon and costar Don Cheadle when Damon joined them. They added that they were laughing, before they talked more seriously for a few minutes and clasped their hands as they spoke.

At the time Lopez filed for divorce, an insider told PEOPLE, “She’s been really trying to make things work and she’s heartbroken. The kids are the top priority, as they always have been.”

Lopez and Affleck married in Las Vegas on July 17, 2022, after rekindling their romance in 2021. They had a second wedding with their family and friends in Georgia in August 2022.
