Jennifer Lopez Wears a Sultry Sheer Zodiac Gown at This Is Me…Now: A Love Story Premiere

Valentine’s Day might be tomorrow, but Jennifer Lopez was joined at the premiere of her new film by husband Ben Affleck, This is me… now: a love story Tuesday.

Lopez, 54, wore an embellished black and silver strapless gown from Zuhair Murad’s Fall/Winter 2022 fashion collection. The velvet bodice featured a plunging V-neck that sat just above her waist. She wore a pair of long, matching black velvet fingerless gloves that wrapped around her hands and ended just below her shoulders.

The skirt of the dress was a voluminous floor-length A-line that included intricate embellishments of various astrological signs. The sheer black skirt was segmented into each character, with a matching animal and symbol embroidered on the hem.

She completed the look with several chunky silver rings, a pair of knotted dangling earrings and a small black leather clutch. Her glam look included a dark gray eyeshadow look, which was accentuated by her jet black eyeliner, and a nude peach lip gloss. She finished the look with a soft and relaxed blowout, which she styled with a side part.

Lopez and Affleck, 51, arrived at LA’s Dolby Theater for a glamorous date in support of the singer’s new on-screen project, which will debut on Amazon Prime Video on February 16 in tandem with her album, This is me… now. According to a press release, fans can expect a “narrative-driven cinematic odyssey steeped in mythological stories and personal healing.”

Jennifer Lopez chose a recognizable shade of Barbie to support her husband Ben Affleck at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.

This wouldn’t be the first time the pair have dressed up to support each other’s career milestones. Last March, Lopez stepped out in a two-tone dress, with a bejeweled top and neon skirt, to celebrate her husband’s new film Air.

The two also attended the 2024 Golden Globes, where the Michael Jordan-inspired film was nominated for Best Musical or Comedy.

Lopez made her formal entrance in a strapless pink couture gown by Nicole + Felicia paired with a matching cape with floral sleeves. Her accessories included sparkly Boucheron jewels, a Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin heels. Affleck looked dapper in a classic tuxedo with a bow tie.

In an interview with DiversityMarc Malkin on the carpet, Lopez opened up about her then-set-to-be-released wedding-themed music video for her new single “Can’t Get Enough,” prompting Malkin’s comment about her four marriages.

Lopez was previously married to Ojani Noa, Chris Judd and Marc Anthony. She was engaged to Alex Rodriguez until March 2021, a month before they officially split.

She married Affleck on July 16, 2022, after rekindling their old romance in 2021. They celebrated their union in an elaborate ceremony at Affleck’s 87-acre estate in Georgia on August 20, 2022.

Lopez wore three Ralph Lauren wedding dresses, including a ruffled mermaid gown (made with over 1,000 handkerchiefs!) in which she walked down the aisle.
