Jenny McCarthy Says She ‘Literally Almost Died’ from Going Vegan

Jenny McCarthy said she “literally almost died” from a vegan diet, because food allergy prevented from consuming enough nutrients.

“So I got sick of vegan,” Masked singer Judge, 52, told the head of Maria Menounos in the episode of his Podcast on March 26, Heals the detachment. “I tried with vegan and I almost died. I literally almost died.”

The problem, she shared, is that she had a lot of food allergies, which have been diagnosed for years.

“I didn’t know I had a problem with gluten and dairy products. I thought they all got sick when they ate,” said McCarthy, who realized he had celiac disease, a disorder that affects the way someone responds to gluten, protein in wheat, rye and barley.
