JERMAINE Jenas’ likely replacements for The One Show have been revealed – with the Big Brother legend a top contender.
The married ex-footballer, 41, was sacked by the BBC and axed from his teatime show, alongside Match Of The Day, following complaints of “inappropriate behaviour”.

Now the odds are being raised on who will replace Jermaine on The One Show and they include the famous BB star, Olympic icon and Morning Live host.
According to BetIdeas, Rylan Clark is the favorite to replace Jermaine at odds of 9/2.
The star, who originally rose to fame on The X Factor in 2012, has built a successful career as a presenter following a singing competition and subsequent appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
He landed a job hosting Big Brother’s Big Brother celebrity show Bit On The Side, before presenting Supermarket Sweep and co-hosting Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two and commentary for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Rylan was also a regular presenter of This Morning and has helped manage ITV’s daytime on a number of occasions.
Lee Astley, spokesman for BetIdeas, said: “The news of Jermaine Jenas’ sacking from BBC’s The One Show has sparked speculation as to who will replace him as full-time presenter, with Rylan Clark a solid betting prospect.
“Rylan, a man well-versed in the world of television who has appeared on ITV’s This Morning and the Eurovision Song Contest, has been given odds of 9/2 to take over the vacancy left by Jenas as host of the BBC’s hit chat show. “
The bookies also have good odds on both Olympic gold medalist Tom Daley taking the job, along with Morning Live’s Gethin Jones.

“The first complaint was raised after Jermaine flirtatiously texted a member of staff at The One Show, and she expressed her suspicions in an official capacity.
“The BBC knows it cannot now ignore concerns or complaints so following urgent routine inquiries the decision has been taken to remove him from the program and terminate his contract.
“They acted quickly and decisively.”
Jermaine has now broken his silence on his sacking.
He told The Sun through a spokesperson: “I can’t talk about it at the moment.
“I can tell you that I am not happy – there are two sides to every story – and I will speak to my lawyers about the matter.”
