Jessica Biel says goodbye to a summer full of drama.
On Wednesday, October 9, the actress revealed that she has finished filming her latest TV project, A better sister.
The Prime Video thriller series sees her team up with Elizabeth Banks to play a pair of estranged sisters, Chloe (Biel) and Nicky (Banks), who find themselves reunited after Chloe’s husband Adam is murdered.
In the video, Biel, 42, shared a series of clips from the show’s set, as well as some snaps of her hair and makeup getting ready for filming, as she closed the chapter on her role as Chloe.
“Finished recording Better sister! Summer in New York has never looked so dramatic,” she captioned the post. “Can’t wait for you to meet these sisters. 🎬.”

Justin Timberlake showed his love for his busy wife on the post, writing “😍😍😍,” and several of Biel’s co-stars commented, including Banks, 50, who wrote: “😢 😘 🤩.”
Gabriel Sloyer, who Deadline announced will play one of Biel’s late husband’s fellow lawyers, Jake, also commented, writing “👏 👏 👏 .”

Biel and Banks began filming the series based on Alafair Burke’s book in June. They were seen all over the city over the summer filming in various locations, from Central Park to Tribeca, before filming wrapped this month.
According to the show’s official diary, “Chloe (Biel) navigates the world with her handsome lawyer husband Adam and teenage son Ethan by her side, while her estranged sister Nicky (Banks) hustles to make ends meet while trying to stay clean.”
When Adam is “brutally murdered,” Chloe and Nicky are reunited, and “the prime suspect sends shockwaves through the family, revealing long-buried secrets.”

While filming the series, the actresses also took time to have fun in between, and had several fun outings together — including seeing Timberlake’s Forget Tomorrow world tour in June at Madison Square Garden.
Banks shared a vlog of the experience on Instagram the next day, as she filmed herself going to the venue to see the singer and included a few clips of his performance. Although Biel didn’t appear in the video, Banks tagged her and Timberlake commented on the post, “❤️.”
The shoot also coincided with the June arrest of Biel’s husband in Sag Harbor, as Timberlake, 43, was arrested for driving while intoxicated or impaired on June 19 but has since reached a plea deal in the case.

A better sister it is tentatively scheduled for release in 2025.
