JESSICA Lange has been spotted on a rare outing as she recovers from an injury at a dog park.

The 74-year-old was pushed by his son Samuel Walker Shepard (36) in a wheelchair on Friday in New York.

The Tootsie star kept warm in a black quilted jacket and fleece pants,

The actress was all smiles as she appeared to be holding a bag of groceries in her lap.

A spokesperson for Jessica downplayed the wheelchair situation in a statement to Page Six.

“Jessica is safe and well,” they said. “She is recovering from a leg injury she sustained at the dog park.”

Jessica shares a son, Samuel, and a daughter, Hannah Jane, with the late actor and director Sam Shepard.

The couple met in 1982 on the set of Frances and were together for three decades.

They quietly broke up in 2009, but only publicly announced it in 2011.

Sam passed away in 2017 from complications related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He was 73 years old.

Jessica’s wheelchair trip comes days after she was seen spending time with friend Susan Sarandon.

This time, Jessica had an assistant push her wheelchair while the Thelma & Louise actress, 77, was seen walking behind.

The women have been friends for years and co-starred with Joan Crawford and Bette Davis in Ryan Murphy’s 2017 film Feud.

The series documented the rivalry between Crawford and Davis during and after the production of their 1962 thriller Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?.

Jessica returns to the series for its second sequel Feud: Capote vs. Swans later this month.

Her role has yet to be revealed in the upcoming season, which will premiere on January 31.

A WALK

Jessica has stated that she is fed up with the current Hollywood landscape and is considering retirement.

In an interview with The Telegraph, the star harshly criticized today’s films based on pop culture franchises

“Creativity is now secondary to corporate profits,” she said. “The emphasis doesn’t become about the art or the artist or the storytelling. It becomes about satisfying your shareholders. It diminishes the artist and the art of recording.”

Jessica singled out the movies by comics, which she pointed out were not of interest to her.

She also harshly condemned the age differences and quick editing, which she called “frantic”.

“I don’t know if it’s because the filmmakers think they can’t hold the audience’s attention anymore,” she said. – Filming like that drives me crazy.
