Jessica Simpson and Her Mom Tina, 63, Twin with Bold Red Lips and Fans Are Calling Them Sisters

Jessica Simpson and mom Tina Simpson are kicking off 2024 in style.

To usher in the new year, the duo posed for a photo shared on the Jessica Simpson Collection Instagram account, wishing their followers a new year “filled with peace, laughter, love and many new adventures to inspire.”

In the shot, the clothes of mother and daughter look appropriate for their personal style.

Jessica, 43, wears an all-black outfit, with a fishnet top over a lacy bra and a micro mini skirt cinched in with a sparkly oversized belt.

“Birdie said he was Santa,” Jessica wrote in the comments section, revealing how her four-year-old daughter, who she shares with husband Eric Johnson, reacted to the Y2K announcement.

The rest of her outfit consists of sheer boots and heeled boots. She also piled on the glitzy outfit, accessorizing her monochrome cut with layers of chain bracelets and chunky necklaces. Her hair is styled in loose waves.

Mother-daughter duo, Jessica and Tina Simpson, rock a festive look and matching red lips for the new year.

Meanwhile, Tina, 63, opted for a more lively and formal look, with a raspberry knit top, dark jeans with calf cuffs and plaid lace-up platform boots.

Like her daughter, Tina threw on the bling and wore her wavy hair down on top with what appeared to be new bangs.

The two amped up their look with matching red lips, prompting fans to call them sisters.

“You and your mom look so much alike! So much beauty!” wrote one of their Instagram followers.

“I feel like I never left that style,” said the fashion mogul and musician.

And while she has created many shoe silhouettes as a shoe designer, Simpson herself remains loyal to one in particular. “I always go back to platforms when it comes to shoes. I have my staples and they end up falling out a little Y2K-[inspired].”
