A new EP Jessica Simpson arrived!
On Friday, March 21, the “irresistible” singer fell Nashville Canyon, pt. 1Her first EP in 15 years, which is currently in the first 10 on Apple Music.
To mark the edition, Simpson (44) shared a celebratory post on Instagram.

Simpson continued: “#nashvillecanyon is the result of learning to hear my heart again, liberated expectations in the industry. It is about surrender, letting my main guide and believing travel ahead. Always inviting God to a room where music is created, a voice that communicates on the spiritual level of grace and allowing music. and the soul around me as I am on their journey. ”
“This project held me awake in my dreams,” Simpson concluded. “Not getting better than this moment here, at the moment, sharing this creative intuition with you.”
Sepaled on the EP is a ballad that is slowly worse called “blame me,” where Simpson sings about someone, allowing the ex to blame them for the fall of their relationship.
“Continue and blame me / continue and blame me / go tell your mom, your friends / everyone at my expense / I wouldn’t be less concerned if you are ashamed / continue, blame me,” appears on the choir.
While Simpson hits the bridge, she sings, “blame me for pain, for shame / for the nights, for days / for your guilt, for your void / and you are good, that I am / that I lose sleep / as you allow me to clean all my mess.”

Simpsonov Nashville Canyon,, Pt. 1 The EP contains five songs, including previously published singles “Uses my heart against me” and “leave”.
On the eve of her new EP, Simpson published a cover of nothing but the “particle” thieves in 2020, after sharing six songs when her audio book 2020 was published.
In February, the artist “I want you love you forever” told people that her daughter Maxwell, for 12 years, inspired her to return to her roots because she wanted to go to Nashville on her 11th birthday,
“She said,” You know that Hank Williams song, “I saw the light?” That’s my favorite song and I want to go where the light is. I want to be there on my 11th birthday, I just feel like I should do it, “Simpson said.

The “Public affair” musician also opened up to people about releasing the pressure she faced when she started her career in pop music, as a reality TV star, and as a “show Pony”.
“I was told who I am as an artist, who I am as a singer, and what words I should sing and how exactly,” she said. “Note to note. Riff for riff.”
Simpson also added that she would not be able to return to music “not to come from a mental place.”
