Jodie Turner-Smith Holds Hands with a Friend amid Ex Joshua Jackson’s New Romance with Lupita Nyong’o

Jodie Turner-Smith is dating a friend.

The Queen & Slim actress, 37, was seen holding hands with friend and photographer Nancy Gomez while out and about in Los Angeles on Friday.

Turner-Smith, who wore a sheer green cropped sweater, gold choker and light denim trousers, and Gomez, who opted for a floral top and jeans as she walked her dog, were also joined by the star’s brother, Richard Smith, who kept things cool in a white puffer vest and black shorts.

Turner-Smith’s walk comes shortly after her ex Joshua Jackson was seen holding hands with Lupita Nyong’o in Joshua Tree, California earlier this week. The pair were seen walking hand-in-hand as they both dressed in comfortable outfits, with Nyong’o wearing yellow sweatpants and a white and green striped long-sleeve T-shirt that read “It’s okay to cry.” Jackson, 45, meanwhile, was seen wearing a gray beanie, a white crew-neck T-shirt and black sweatpants.

Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith have agreed to joint custody of their 3½-year-old daughter, Juno

Both outings came more than two months after Turner-Smith filed for divorce from Dawson’s Creek alum in October.

At the time, Turner-Smith cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. A source later told PEOPLE that Turner-Smith “decided she was done.”

“They are on very different paths in life,” the source said. “It turned into an unhealthy marriage that made her unhappy.”

Since filing, Turner-Smith has been seen out and about with her daughter at a local market, and even went to celebrate Halloween alone at the annual Casamigos Halloween party in late October.

Jackson and Turner-Smith share three-year-old Juno Rose Diana Jackson, over whom they have agreed on joint physical and legal custody.
