John Legend is all about his family.
On Friday, August 30, the musician, 45, shared an Instagram carousel filled with cute snaps of his four children: daughters Luna, 8, and Esta, 19 months, and sons Miles, 6, and Wren, 14 months, as well as his wife Chrissy Teigen. The announcement comes on the same day as the release of his children’s album, “My Favorite Dream,” which Legend says was “completely inspired by my wife and our babies.”
In the first picture, the proud dad is smiling widely with his four little ones as they pose in the pool. In multiple pool pictures, Legend can be seen lifting Miles above the water with just one hand.
Another shot shows Legend wearing a cheetah-print cape while holding the two youngest in his arms, while the two oldest gather around them. The next shot highlights their youngest, Wren, as his parents kiss both of his cheeks.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s 4 Children: All About Luna, Miles, Esta and Wren
As the carousel continues, Legend shares more pictures of his kids playing with their dad’s piano, Teigen hugging and kissing her little ones, and Legend holding her babies on her shoulders.
“The release day is finally here for My Favorite Dream! This album was a true labor of love,” the dad-of-four shared in his caption, adding that, “It’s totally inspired by my wife and our babies, the family tree we’re all a part of and they continue to grow.”
He continued: “I want our babies and yours to find joy, inspiration and comfort in this music. I hope it helps them fall in love with music and helps them deal with any worries and challenges they may have. I hope that the spirit of LOVE at the center of the album is infectious and palpable, and when the time comes, I hope it will help them SLEEP (please!) and dream all their fondest dreams.”
The “All of Me” singer recently revealed that he got new ink in honor of his family on Monday, August 26, sharing some snaps of his new arm tattoo on his Instagram. Holding up both arms with his two tattoos and smiling broadly, Legend explained each arm tattoo and its sentimental meaning in his caption.

“I don’t have much ink on my body,” the dad-of-four admitted, adding: “My first tattoo was ‘chrissylunamiles’ in subtle cursive like a heart monitor on my right arm in honor of my growing family. So I asked @winterstone to come back and reflect that with the new babies.”
He continued: “Introducing ‘chrissyestiwren’ for the left hand. If you zoom/squint/get your reading glasses you can see it 😂.”
Despite his honest statement, Teigen, 38, made a hilarious joke about her husband in the comments, writing: “Wait TWO CHRISSYS!!!!!! 😭😭😭,” she cheekily wrote under the Legend’s snaps.
Other commenters asked if Legend also had a tattoo in honor of the couple’s son Jack, who they lost at 20 weeks pregnant. “He’s on my wrist!” Legend recorded.
