As for the 2025 resolutions involving his husband Jaymes Vaughan, Bennett tells PEOPLE they want to find more ways to work together professionally.
“We have to do something super special [in 2024]which, in my Hallmark Christmas movie that came out, Season’s greetings from Cherry Lanewe actually had to use my husband’s Christmas carol as the film’s theme song,” she says.
“There was that moment when you’re watching your Hallmark movie that you’re starring in, and then your husband’s voice comes on as the soundtrack,” continues Bennett, who married Vaughan in March 2022. “I thought it was such a neat moment, and I wished I had more moments like that where we sort of intertwine our art.”
She adds, “There is literally no more perfect Hallmark moment than your husband’s song playing during an emotional part of your Hallmark movie.”
