Josha Stradowski is a Dutch actor. He is known for his role as “Joris” in the Dutch film Gewoon Vrienden (2018) and as “Rand Al’ Thor” in the American TV series The Wheel of Time (2021).

Josha Stradowski was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands in 1995 (25 years old in 2020). From 2004 to 2009, he studied at the Youth Theatre Hofplein in Rotterdam. In 2008, he went to Codarts Rotterdam to study the beginners’ dance course. From 2009 to 2014, he studied acting at the Theatre VWO Hofplein. He graduated from the Amsterdam Academy of the Arts (Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten). In 2010, he studied at the Lucia Marthas Academy of Performing Arts in Amsterdam.

Josha Stradowski began his career as a theatre artist in 2006 in the play Kuifje: De Zonnetempel directed by Frank van Laecke.
He then starred in musicals such as Ciske de Rat (2007) and The Sound of Music (2008). In 2017 he had his first leading role in the play Gender directed by Timothy de Gilde at the Toneelgroep Theatre in Arnhem.
He has also appeared in the plays: Brotherly Love (2018) and Oedipus Rex (2018).
television
He began his television career in 2011 with the role of “Max” in the Dutch TV series “Liefdesplein”. He subsequently starred in Dutch Naranjina en de Kadekapers (2011), Spangas (2012), Verborgen Verhalen (2012), High Flyers (2020). He made his American debut as “Rand Al’Thor” in the TV series “The Wheel of Time” (2021).
Movie
He made his film debut in the Dutch short film Uitgesproken (2013) as “Niels”.
He has appeared in the short films: Kick-Ass (2015), The Siren (2017), Ik kan Vliegen (2017) and Alpha (2017). He made his feature film debut as “Joris” in Gewoon Vrienden (2018).
He then played “The Man” in the 2019 film Basic Instinct.
