The Hough siblings discover the “chemistry” between Jenn Tran and her Dancing with the stars partner, Sasha Farber.
Tran, 26, and Farber, 40, danced the rumba The little mermaid“Kiss the Girl” for this week’s episode of Disney Night. Both judge Derek Hough and host Julianne Hough made a few comments about the duo’s potential chemistry.
Farber kissed the first Bachelor star at the helm as their performance drew to a close, paying tribute to the iconic scene from the animated film.
Derek, 39, started the round of criticism and said: “Does it feel weird to say I’m sending this?”

After the two received praise for their “best dance” of the season from judge Carrie Ann Inaba, they brought Julianne, 36, to hear the results. But before they found out about their score of 24, Julianne joked about their finishing touches.
“But first, a kiss on the forehead? Sasha, come on,” Julianne said, and Farber replied, “Classy, classy.” Tran then chimed in, joking, “He’s getting nervous.”
“Well, with the chemistry you two have, does that make a difference?” Julianne asked. “So does it make a difference in chemistry to have that for this partnership?”
“Absolutely,” Tran confirmed. “I mean, I don’t think we had such a good relationship, as if our dance would be totally off. We trust each other so much. We know each other so well. That’s why this works so well.”

Before the Hough siblings felt the sparks, Tran posted a TikTok on Saturday, October 19, showing scenes of them rehearsing and preparing for the upcoming show. The two headed to Echo Park Lake and spent time on a swan paddleboard, but Tran continued to joke that he felt the same way Girls one-to-one connections.
Before their Saturday “date,” on Tuesday, Oct. 11, Tran spoke about Farber’s guidance and partnership. “[He] he always wants to make sure I’m okay. I wouldn’t really describe him as tough,” she said Us Weekly. “He really just pushes me to be the best. But he’s also very, very caring. He is such a compassionate man.”

Dancing with the stars airs Tuesdays at 8pm ET on ABC and Disney+ and airs the following day on Hulu.
