At the time of her death, Jung Chae-yul’s K-drama Wedding Impossible was in production.
Jung Chae-yul, born on September 4, 1996, is famous as a model and actress. Esteem Entertainment has represented her throughout her career in the entertainment industry. Jung made his debut in 2016 with Devil’s Runaway.
She then played the role of Bae Yoon-mi in the 2020 TV series Zombie Detective. The fantasy drama premiered on September 21, 2020 and ended on October 27, 2020. At the 18th KBS Entertainment Awards, Zombie Detective also won Best Challenge. Choi Jin-hyuk, Park Ju-hyun, and Kwon Hwa-woon star in the show. She also starred in the 2018 film Deep. Jung is the second K-drama actor to die this year. Another actor, Na Chul, passed away in January 2023 at the age of 36. According to Star News Korea, Chul was hospitalized when his condition worsened and he died from health complications. Chul is best known for playing Na Deok-jin in the Netflix original series Vincenzo. He also starred in films such as Once Upon a Time in America, Yakhanyeongung, Moebius, Hospital Playlist, Sinkhole, Happiness, Weak Hero Class 1 and Little Women.
