Justin Bieber Performs Intimate Concert at Drake’s Toronto Club Over a Year After His Last Show

Justin Bieber triumphantly returned to the stage!

The 29-year-old Grammy-winning musician treated fans in Toronto this week to an intimate set of hits, remixes and fan favorites ahead of NHL All-Star Weekend 2024, when he played Drake’s History Club for his first live concert set for more than a year.

Bieber performed a short set at the 2,500-capacity venue for the “Drew House x Toronto Maple Leafs” performance, per Boardwhere fan shots showed the pop star rocking one of his Drew House hockey jerseys and going through a few hits from his catalog.

The show came days before Bieber’s appearance at the annual All-Star Game, where he will take on the role of team captain, and more than a year after the cancellation of his Justice World Tour.

In September 2022, Bieber canceled the remaining tour dates, named in promotion of his 2021 album. Justiceafter being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in June 2022.

At the time, the musician wrote that the tour “really hit me.” Since then, he has made brief appearances on stage, such as at Don Toliver’s Rolling Loud set in March 2023.

But on Thursday, the artist was back in his element in his home country, where he sang his remix of SZA’s “Snooze” and My world 2.0 singles “Eenie Meenie”, as well as an updated version of “Baby” packed with vocal lines.

Later hits he performed included “Peaches”, “Hold On” and “Ghost”.

Before wrapping, Bieber even invited his friend and “Stay” collaborator The Kid LAROI to the stage, though he didn’t show up. “All is well, maybe we’ll come back. I love you guys, thank you so much,” Bieber said.

Bieber’s latest performance came as fans online speculated about a musical comeback, after the artist posted photos of him rehearsing with his bandmates.
