Justin Timberlake appeared to poke fun at his recent legal troubles during his latest concert in Boston.
On Saturday, June 29, the 43-year-old Grammy winner addressed his Forget Tomorrow World Tour crowd at TD Garden when he made what appeared to be a brief joke about his June 18 DWI arrest.
“So, uh, is anybody here tonight driving and … no, just kidding,” Timberlake said, apparently nodding to his arrest more than a week ago in Sag Harbor, New York, for allegedly driving while intoxicated condition.
Timberlake’s brief line drew laughter and applause from the nearly 20,000-capacity arena, before he asked his real question: “Is there anybody here tonight that’s the first time you’ve ever performed here? Is there anybody here who is you?” have you been to 1, 2, 3, maybe 4 of our performances?”

“For all of you who are having your first time tonight — seriously — I hope you feel the togetherness and the love,” he continued.
The *NSYNC alum then used the rest of his speaking break to repeat some of the things he’s already brought up during several other shows — specifically, his June 22 performance at the United Center in Chicago, where he acknowledged the fans who ” grown”.
“For those of you who have been with me through all the weird haircuts… don’t act like you haven’t had a bad haircut! I took one for the team. Maybe 3 or 4 for the team, but who’s counting,” Timberlake said in Boston. “But we’ve been through almost three decades together, guys.”

Timberlake’s latest comments on stage came nearly two weeks after his June 18 arrest, when the pop star was stopped after leaving the American Hotel in Sag Harbor and charged with one count of DWI and two citations. Timberlake was charged with allegedly running a stop sign and failing to maintain a lane.
He is due back in court on July 26, however, PEOPLE has learned that the hearing will be virtual, and that Timberlake’s attorney will attend on his behalf because the singer will be on tour in Europe at the time.
According to an arrest report obtained by PEOPLE, an officer observed Timberlake’s 2025 BMW “fail to maintain the right side of the roadway” and run through a stop sign. After the traffic stop, the trooper stated that Timberlake “underperformed under all standardized field sobriety conditions.” tests.”
According to the report, the singer told authorities, “I had one martini and followed my friends home.”

Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr., said in a statement on June 19, “Mr. Burke looks forward to a vigorous defense of Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the right time. He is currently awaiting full disclosure from the DA’s office.”
A source told PEOPLE on June 27 that Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, are focused elsewhere following his arrest and “have confidence in their legal team and instead continue to focus on work and their family.”
“They always support each other in their careers,” the source added. “Jess would never miss a show if she could come. She is excited about him. They gave up on arrest.”
The insider’s comments came after Biel, 42, was spotted dancing in the crowd during her husband’s tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City on June 25.
