Justin Timberlake Attends NYC Fashion Dinner Supporting Pharrell Williams New Joopiter Auction

Justin Timberlake stepped out this week in New York for a good cause.

On Thursday night, the singer, 42, attended a cocktail party and dinner in support of Pharrell Williams’ new Joopiter clothing auction with art director Kenzo Nig, according to WWD.

The star wore a beige jumper and matching coat teamed with black trousers and shoes, along with red tinted black sunglasses as he posed for photos taken at the event.

According to the press release, the sale is titled From me to you, is a curator of sought-after, iconic and unseen items from Nig’s personal archive. The auction will be open for global bidding on Joopiter.com from November 9-16. Joopiter is the first global digital auction house and content platform founded by Williams.

Nig’s collection was on display during the fashion affair, including an oversized orange Hermès Birkin bag, Louis Vuitton suitcases and shoe bags, and many pairs of never-worn Levis, according to WWD. Model and actress Cara Delevingne (31) was also present.

Other items included in the auction include a special edition Casio G-Shock watch, all-white leather, a first-edition BAPE STA sneaker signed by rapper JAY-Za, a custom Brooklyn Machine Works engine and a Jacob & Co white gold and diamond Gucci chain, according to the release. .

“From Me to You is named after one of my favorite Beatles songs and symbolizes the time to finally release my most cherished, personal collections to the world,” Nigo said in a press release about the auction. “Each item is something I have spent time and energy collecting, and many I have had the privilege of helping to create. I truly look forward to seeing them pass down to the next generation and hopefully continue to live on through the next.”

Williams added: “I’ve been wearing vintage since I was 15. There was a big American vintage trend in Japan in the ’80s. It was the die-hard Japanese collectors who came up with the vintage manual, and the culture lives on today. The drive to learn from vintage clothing continues to influence everything I do.”
