Justin Timberlake Teases More New *NSYNC Music: ‘We’ve Been in the Studio’

*Looks like NSYNC fans shouldn’t be saying “bye-bye-bye” to the prospect of new music.

During an appearance on Tuesday’s episode The Kelly Clarkson ShowJustin Timberlake has dropped a heavy hint that last year’s rumored *NSYNC reunion is just the beginning.

“We were in the studio, so there could be a little something in the future,” he told host Kelly Clarkson.

Timberlake’s tease came as he reminisced about working with former bandmates JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone for the first time in more than two decades on “Better Place,” which was released in September 2023 as part of the film’s soundtrack. movie Trolls Band together.

“It was fun,” he said. “It’s kind of crazy, like there’s so much that picks up where it left off chemistry-wise.”

Reflecting on his early career with *NSYNC, Timberlake, 42, told the show that much of his love for the creative process of making music came from the experience of singing with the rest of the group.

“Growing up in the industry and getting access to so much in the studio, I just became like a studio rat,” Timberlake continued. “I just loved being there and I loved the creative process. And on the harmony side, I spent some time with four others playing a lot of harmonies.”

Justin Timberlake says he took a ‘real’ look at his past to give his ‘perspective’ to his new album

Timberlake has a new solo album on the way, his sixth and first in six years since 2018. The man in the forest. LP, titled Everything I thought it wasfalls on March 15.

Earlier this month, Timberlake unveiled the music video for the album’s lead single, “Selfish,” a song he first premiered during his intimate one-off free show for fans in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. Both tracks call back to Timberlake’s early 2000s R&B work, produced by longtime collaborator Timbaland. Timbaland said, “We had songs that were maybe too complicated, so we said we wanted it to feel like FutureSex part two, so we made songs to match that.”

Meanwhile, talking about his new music in an interview with Apple Music 1 this month, Timberlake shared that it will give fans a “real” perspective on his life.

“I was able, in some songs, to look back and have a real, not a refracted perspective of what was because they always say… you always hear that thing about, well, there’s never any truth, there’s just everybody’s perspective of what happened ,” Timberlake explained.

“But to really look at it and be able to metabolize and verbalize my perspective on it, I don’t think I’ve ever done that before,” he said, adding that the songs are “introspective and “incredibly honest.”
