Relationships/Affairs
When she was in college, she met Rajat Sharma, who was a senior to her. A few months later, they met through a mutual friend. Later, they went on a trip with a mutual friend and during the trip (by train), Rajat proposed to Jyothika but she did not reply. In her final semester of college, when Jyothika got a scholarship to go to South Korea and Rajat was in Chandigarh, she realized her love for Rajat and the two started dating. After dating for a few years, the couple got engaged on November 5, 2021, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Jyothika wore a lilac gown by Rubina Dilaik on her engagement day.

In 2020, during the coronavirus lockdown, she returned home to Shimla and started a YouTube channel of the same name. She uploads vlogs on her YouTube channel every day, and as of December 2021, her channel has approximately 679,000 subscribers.
