Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford Step Out for Mother-Daughter Night with Matching Looks in N.Y.C.

Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber spend time together in New York!

The fashion-forward mother-daughter duo stepped out in the Big Apple on Tuesday for the Planet Omega fashion panel and cocktail party. Both ladies wore all black for the event.

During the photo shoot on the red carpet, Gerber (22) posed with her supermodel mom (57).

The American horror stories the actress’ hair was up in a long-sleeved black turtleneck teamed with a high-waisted pleated mini skirt. Dressed for fall, Gerber added sheer socks and closed-toe shoes to complete her look.

Standing next to his daughter, Crawford hugged her bottom star with one arm and holding a black purse in her free hand. For the occasion, she wore a flowing V-neck midi dress and boots.

Before the panel began, Crawford joked with the crowd about the height difference between the two.

“In case you’re wondering, she has longer legs than me,” Super models the talent said pointing to Gerber as the crowd laughed.

Crawford also shared photos of the jewelry on her Instagram Story and tagged the Swiss luxury watch company. Her partnership with Omega dates back to 1995. In 2015, they celebrated 20 years of working together.

“Cindy Crawford is the brand’s longest-serving ambassador. “She was initially chosen for her fashion sense and style, but it soon became clear that she shares OMEGA’s values,” the brand said in a statement at the time.

Crawford added that when she was brought on board, Omega had a reputation for having “a lot of stereotypical ‘man stuff’.”

After joining as an ambassador and providing feedback on the design of Constellation watches, “she considered [Omega] to be a modern watchmaker.”

Gerber signed with the luxury company in 2017. She helped launch the campaign for the new Tresor collection, which was created in 1949.

According to Omega’s website, when Gerber attended the 2021 Met Gala, “her stunning wardrobe included a work of art: the 24.4mm OMEGA De Ville Prestige Dewdrop.”

It was her first time at the annual fundraiser. She wore a floor-length black strapless ball gown and an Omega watch with a black band on her left wrist.

Earlier this year, Crawford spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about how her youngest is handling fame.

“I think she sees my husband in a way [Rande Gerber] and I’ve dealt with it for years,” the proud mom said at the 6th annual Best Buddies fundraiser in May. “It’s not like, we never try, ‘Oh, we can’t go there because we might take pictures.’ ”

Noting that the industry has changed since her modeling days, Crawford added, “I’m learning with her about these things, but I feel like she has a very good head on her shoulders and is figuring out how she wants to create that balance of private and public work. ”
