Kaley Cuoco Celebrates Mother's Day with Touching Tribute to Daughter Matilda: 'Girl Who Changed Our Whole World'

Kaley Cuoco is celebrating her second Mother’s Day by honoring her village!

The actress, 38, marked the occasion with a touching Instagram post on May 12 in which she not only paid tribute to her one-year-old daughter, Matilda, but also to the girl’s father, Tom Pelphrey, and all the other special caregivers in her life.

“Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! Especially to all the ladies who help us raise our little Tildy! We couldn’t get enough of you 🌸. And daddy behind the scenes makes today so special,” Cuoco wrote in the post’s caption.

She concluded with a sweet message for her daughter: “Finally to my little girl Matilda who changed our whole 🌎 🩷.”

The post featured a series of photos of Matilda happily posing and spending time with her mom and dad, as well as several other adults, including Cuoco’s mother.

Cuoco and Pelphrey, 41, welcomed Matilda on March 30, 2023.

“Tom and I were sitting with Matilda the other day, and she was literally staring at us, and she touched both of our faces, and just gave us this innocent, really joyful, ‘Hi’ smile,” Cuoco said.

“I mean, I could cry right now,” she continued. “We both looked at each other and started crying. He says, ‘Is this our life now, where we’re just crying because of everything she does?’ ”

The vocal animal lover — who last year launched her line of eco-friendly dog ​​products, Oh Norman! — also spoke to PEOPLE about Matilda’s relationship with the family dogs, saying, “They jumped on her. They crawled on her. We let them lick her, kiss her. Our pediatrician said, ‘It’s OK.’ So they love her that much.”
