Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey are mourning the loss of one of their adopted puppies.
The Role playing actress, 38, i Ozark actor, 41, both shared statements on social media on Thursday, letting their fans know the couple had lost the first dog they rescued together.
“There are no words to describe our dearest little Kingy,” Cuoco began in her tribute to the “most special” dog.
Cuoco explained how she and Pelphrey became parents to the puppy, saying she was in Germany when “I saw him on the Internet shaking at a shelter in Atlanta.” The actress contacted the facility and asked if they could keep him until she returned “because we just had to have him.”
She shared a video of her and Kingy’s first meeting on her Instagram Story.

In the video, the timid puppy cautiously approached her before sniffing her face. The two cuddled as she looked into the camera and smiled as if her life was complete.
“We didn’t have him long enough,” Cuoco added in her caption on the Instagram carousel, which featured several photos of her and Kingy, along with Pelphrey, their daughter Matilda, who they welcomed on March 30, 2023, and several other pets.

The Stewardess the actress also talked about the challenges of adopting an older dog versus a puppy, which includes medical issues.

In her comments section, Taylor Lautner, Amanda Seyfried and PETA were among those who offered their condolences.
Pelphrey noted that King “coddled Kaley throughout her pregnancy” in his tribute.
“King – I’m going to miss sleeping with you, I’m going to miss your kisses on your eyes and your lap laps, I’m going to miss your whirling tornado style of a drunk poop master,” he added, along with a series of sweet photos.

Before Matilda’s arrival, the couple snapped black-and-white photos showing off Cuoco’s baby bump as American killer the actor and their five puppies gathered around the filming of the maternity ward.
“Just wait[g] on their human sister to arrive ππ,” Cuoco captioned a carousel of black-and-white Instagram photos featuring fur babies joining family photos.
“Beautiful family. I’m so thrilled for you. You’re going to be the best mom,” Alyssa Milano wrote, and Chrissy Metz added, “These pics!!! β€οΈπ₯Ή.”
