  • Kanwaljit appeared for the NDA Air Force and Merchant Navy examinations when he was 17 years old. He was rejected because of hearing problems.
  • Later, he became interested in acting and enrolled in FTII’s acting course. He auditioned in Delhi. He said in an interview that he knew nothing about acting. During the audition, he read lines from the script in Dev Anand style and the judges were really disappointed.
  • Kanwaljit felt uncomfortable in the Mumbai environment when he first came into contact with it, but later he adapted to the lifestyle and got used to it.
  • The government has ordered that actors over the age of 65 will not be allowed to film after the lockdown ends in 2020. He objected to the rule, saying in an interview,
