Karen Huger marks milestone with husband Ray Huger.
The The Real Housewives of Potomac star celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on Thursday, honoring the occasion with a sentimental Instagram post on Thursday.
In Karen’s tribute, there were two photos: one of her and Ray at their first wedding and another taken at their 2021 vow renewal.
Everyone was decked out in both pictures. For the first, Ray wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt, white waistcoat and white bow tie. Karen posed next to him in her off-the-shoulder white lace dress with a white linen hair band in her hair. Their son Brandon also posed with them.
Image no. 2 was filmed as Ray spoke to Karen and their guests at their vow renewal, which aired on The Real Housewives of Potomac. He wore a dark suit for the affair, while she turned heads in a spectacular $10,000 strapless Vivien Agbakoba gown.
“Then and now!” Karen captioned a series of photos. “Happy 27th anniversary. Thank you for the laughter, joy, love and all the wonderful memories. I said yes then and I say yes now! I love you baby.❤️”

The couple has gone through some ups and downs over the years, with Karen even revealing during the season six premiere that her husband once took back the engagement ring he gave her before they were supposed to tie the knot.
“You remember canceling my first wedding, right?” she told Ray, later explaining in the confessional, “Ray didn’t really freeze up. Ray got mad. I left without telling him at first, but he should have known where I was going before I packed my bags.”
The couple also had a tumultuous year before the COVID-19 pandemic, which the TV personality noted ended up being good for strengthening their marriage.
“The pandemic has been really good for Ray and I, as you know, we’ve been through a lot this past year, but what it’s done is it’s forced us to have conversations that we wouldn’t have had time for,” Bravo said. star told Wendy Williams about her quarantine with her husband. “He is all my good, bad, indifferent.”

Karen added that Ray telling their therapist on the show that he “thinks he loves her” motivated the reality star to work harder on their marriage.
“That hurt me more than anything he could say about me physically, so it made me dig deep and fight for our marriage,” she said.

It eventually worked out and the two were able to mend their relationship, with Ray even stepping in during the third part of season five RHOP reunion special that he wanted to move forward with their plans for a vow renewal ceremony.
“It was a difficult year. And we worked, and I really didn’t expect him to say this,” she said then with emotion. “I always thought we’d renew our vows on the 25th. It’s just, you know, because of last year, I didn’t think it was possible. So, thank you for the love. I’m looking forward to it.
