Karen Pittman Not Returning to And Just Like That… for Season 3

Karen Pittman is not coming back And just like that

After joining Sex and the city reboot of the series for two seasons, Pittman will exit before the third season due to production and scheduling conflicts with other streaming series. Pittman also stars Morning show on AppleTV+ and Netflix’s upcoming series Forever.

The 37-year-old actress played Professor Nya Wallace, a friend of Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) in the Max show.

“It was a pleasure to have Karen Pittman as the smart and captivating Professor Nya Wallace for the first two seasons And just like that…,” Max’s spokesperson said in a statement to PEOPLE. “Just as we thoroughly enjoyed working with this dynamic actress, so did others.”

“Due to her commitments with two other streamer series, it became apparent that filming three shows at once was not possible,” explained a representative of the streamer.

“Due to the realities of production, we are disappointed to announce that scheduling conflicts will not allow us to continue with this character as part of Season 3 And just like that…“, added the representative. “Karen and Nya will be missed, and her Max family and fans will all be cheering her on in her other endeavors.”
