Kartar Cheema made her acting debut in 2006 with the Punjabi TV series Saude Dillan De. Next, in 2007, he made his acting debut with the film Kaun Kise Da Beli, directed by Jagtar Singh. The film was released on December 28, 2007, starring Preet Brar, Jagtar Jaggi, Binnu Dhillon, BN Sharma BN Sharma and Surendra Sharma. In 2008, he played the role of Lally in Gaurav Trehan’s Punjabi romantic comedy film Harshaal: A Love Story. His performance in the film brought him huge recognition for his work.
