Kate Beckinsale is making a major hair transformation — and she did it seemingly overnight.

Beckinsale attended on Tuesday EllaCelebrating Women in Hollywood with her long brown hair styled in a massive tousled bun. The very next day, she stepped out at the Roger Vivier holiday dinner looking almost unrecognizable with striking blonde hair.

Skeptics who assumed Beckinsale was wearing a wig might be confused to discover that the star looked very blonde on Thursday as well. Beckinsale wore her chic new look The Hollywood Reporter‘s Women in Entertainment gala in Beverly Hills, complete with a white mini dress.

Beckinsale debuted the hairstyle on Instagram on Thursday, posing in the all-red look she wore to Roger Vivier’s holiday soiree.

Her hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, who styled Beckinsale’s new look, kept it simple in the actress’ comments, writing “HOTNESS”. Giannetos also coined a new name for the appearance — “smudge.”

Latvian designer Ramona Agruma also praised Beckinsale in the comments commenting “Omg! The blonde looks so good on you 😍,” to which Beckinsale asked, “am I already Latvian?” In response, Agruma commented that Beckinsale looked “posh English 😘.”

Beckinsale was last seen with platinum hair in her 2021 film snatch.

The actress’ hairstyle is the latest in a series of bold style moves by the star. Beckinsale celebrated Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday in November in a sapphire necklace-like minidress in Titanic. Last week, the star wore a stunning sheer dress to Paris Hilton’s Slivmas party.
