Kate Beckinsale pays tribute to her late cat Clive.
On Wednesday, June 12, Culprit star, 50, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram in honor of her late cat, marking the one-year anniversary of his death.
“Fly high my best angel on your first anniversary. Oh my heart, Clive, I miss you. Not a soul like you. Love of my life 🤍,” she wrote in an Instagram tribute.
The actress’ post also included 10 videos of her cute cat, starting with a video of Beckinsale crouching down to the floor while wearing a black organza dress. Clive peeked under her skirt and Beckinsale flashed a cheeky smile to the camera.

She followed up on the first video with a few more of the two of them playing around her house. One video shows Beckinsale rolling around her house while Clive rests in her arms. Another captured the actress massaging his fluffy face as she serenaded him.
Beckinsale also included a reconstruction of the iconic Dirty Dancing “Love Is Strange” scene, introducing herself as Jennifer Gray and Clive dutifully playing Patrick Swayze.

She included two more clips, in which she serenaded the cat with Barbara Dickson and Elaine Paige’s “I Know Him So Well” while Clive slept soundly on the couch next to her. Another showed him simply sitting in the middle of her kitchen while Beckinsale sang Bryan Adams’ “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” to her stoic cat.

Beckinsale also shared videos of her and Clive relaxing at her home. One video in particular includes a cat resting on its owner’s legs while she relaxes on a pool float. Meanwhile, another included the two in tiara and tulle outfits.

Beckinsale also posted several photos of her late cat to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, many of which were behind-the-scenes looks at videos she previously shared.
At the time of Clive’s death, she announced the news, writing: “Clive has died. I don’t have the energy to edit or even look at his pictures yet. Every part of my house feels like it should be in it.”

Two months later, she paid tribute to her cat and tattooed the image of her beloved pet. The black ink design — depicting a cat’s face with a string of stars around it — was placed on the inside of her forearm.
