Kate Hudson Carried a Little Clutch That's a Dressier Alternative to Crossbody Bags for Fall Weddings

Something borrowed by Kate Hudson? Yes, her fancy clutch. Or at least one that looks just like it.

Amid numerous summer trips, the 45-year-old actress recently posted eleven different photos from her time spent in the south of France on Instagram. While the main focus of the photo was her sparkly YSL dress, which she revealed in her caption, her clutch was a sleek underdog that definitely deserves more praise where it’s due.

Totally different from her roomy shoulder bag, which adorably allowed her to hold hands with her daughter hands-free, this one actually required her to carry it. But it looked much more formal (even with the black tie), bordering more on her designer dress and the ones we usually see at fall or winter weddings.

While mixing metals is fine, Hudson has kept things even this time around. We noticed that the gold on her chunky earrings went perfectly with the gold trim on her rectangular purse. This $29 option is similar with a metallic shade on top, and if you’re going to a gala or wedding, the visually appealing ruffles are likely to be just one of many you’ll see throughout the night.

Black is almost sold out, but colorful colors like red or emerald green for the upcoming holidays could also be a good choice.
