Katherine Schwarzenegger Says Chris Pratt Will Be in Charge of Holiday Cooking: ‘Going to Throw That Apron on Him’ (Exclusive)

Katherine Schwarzenegger is starting a new holiday tradition.

At the Cleobella x Katherine Schwarzenegger launch party on Saturday, Good night, sister author, 33, jokingly told PEOPLE that she’ll be putting husband Chris Pratt on kitchen duty this holiday season.

“I’ll tell you what, this Thanksgiving I’m going to put that apron on him and that oven mitt and it’s going to be a big new tradition in our family,” she said, referring to the kitchen items she created in collaboration with Kleobella.

From the sounds of it, Thor: Love and Thunder star, 44, will be up to the task. “He does most of the cooking in the family. So we have a great kind of combination that I like to bake,” Schwarzenegger explained.

The mom of two also chatted about the process of taking holiday photos with the little ones. She said her and Pratt’s daughters Lyla, 3, and Eloise, 17 months, have so far not minded dressing up for the occasion.

“Not yet,” she said. “But I also look at myself, I’m 33 years old and I still get along with my mom and sister. [However]I feel like my sister and I went through a phase where we were like, ‘We don’t want to get along.'”

Schwarzenegger also touched on her daughters’ special relationship with their grandmother Maria Shriver. “My mom and my older daughter, Lyla, try to coordinate everything. So I’m really excited as we go into this holiday season that they have another outfit that they can coordinate in, because that’s how they’re so connected,” she said of coordinated sets for adults and children found in the Cleobella collection.

In July, Schwarzenegger shared a rare series of vacation photos with his daughters and Shriver, 68, on Instagram. The former first lady of California could be seen cuddling with her youngest granddaughter during the scenic boat ride.

Other photos captured the girls adorably holding hands as they walked around in colorful swimsuits and played in an inflatable pool that had yet to be filled with water.

She titled the summer post simply, “Mountains and Friendship”.

Arnold Schwarzenegger says it’s ‘fantastic’ to see daughter Katherine become a mother (Exclusive)

Earlier this year, Katherine’s father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, spoke about how proud it makes him to see his daughter become a mother.

“It’s nice to see my kids have kids themselves and see this new dimension,” the former politician, 76, told PEOPLE at the premiere of his Netflix series in May Fubar.

“You see them grow up and you see them go to school and get smart and get degrees and get jobs and all that, but now you see them being parents? That’s fantastic. It’s really great,” he added.

Like Shriver, he relishes the role of caring grandfather. “I just love the tub [Katherine] she comes to my house or when I go there, but most of the time she comes to my house because I have all the animals,” he said. “The grandkids love animals. I have a pig, so now they want to come over there and feed the pig all the time, hang out with the little pig.”
