Holmes also experiences a change in her personal life as she adjusts to being a blank slate.
While talking to City and country for their September 2024 issue, Dawson’s Creek alum made some rare comments about her daughter Suri, 18, who is off to college after graduating from high school in New York City in June.
The mother-of-one, who has tried to keep her daughter out of the limelight for years, told the newspaper: “I’m proud of my daughter. Of course, I’ll miss being close, but I’m really proud of her and happy.”
“I remember being at this age, this time of beginnings. It’s exciting to learn about yourself, and I loved that time, so it makes me happy to think about it like that,” added Holmes.
