Slater is considered the greatest competitive surfer of all time, with 11 world titles, 55 career wins and the youngest and oldest world champion in men’s history. He burst onto the professional surfing scene in the 1990s, capturing the attention of many as he cut huge waves with a deliberate release of his fins and a combination of aerial tricks. By the age of 20, he had won his first world title, opening the door to a new era of world-class surfing.
In 30 years, he has established a legacy that many find difficult to replicate or even come close to. But beyond his legacy, he’s just as famous for his efforts to transform the beginner surfing scene in 2015 using the wave pool technology he and his team of engineers at Kelly Slater Wave Co. developed. It’s no secret that Slater is passionately devoted to his girlfriend Miller, who often appears on his Instagram. Although it is not known when the couple started dating, on September 24, 2019, Miller posted a monochrome picture of herself and Slater in their childhood to mark their anniversary. In the description, she said that it had been twelve years and two days since they had been together. She then called him a man-child and said that she would personally shower him with praise.
Slater wished his partner a happy Valentine’s Day that same year, in February. In the caption, he said the two had been on so many trips and experiences over the years that he needed help organizing and accessing his photos. During the launch of Slater’s Outerknown clothing line in 2016, The Daily Telegraph claimed that Slater’s girlfriend was seen wearing a diamond on her left “ring” finger. This happened just days after a tabloid revealed that the couple were looking for engagement rings. Friends from the relationship told the magazine that Slater was “madly in love with her” and intended to marry Miller. So far there has been no word on their wedding, and it is not known if Miller is Slater’s wife, although she has been seen wearing a band on her ring finger in recent Instagram pictures.

MIKOH Swimwear was founded by her sister Oleema (who is also dating a professional surfer). The sisters have immensely developed the company as experienced business women. Their items are currently sold worldwide. Slater struck gold when he met the sharp-witted and lovely Miller.
